Privacy Policy

This website is a concept site designed and built by Geminate Solutions to demonstrate a real estate website. The forms and accounts work, so this policy explains exactly what happens to anything you send us. Please do not enter sensitive information you would not want stored.

What we collect

• Enquiries. When you send a contact, viewing, property, agent or newsletter form we store the details you type (name, email, optional phone, message, preferred viewing date and time), the page you sent it from, and the time.
• Accounts. If you create an account we store your name, email address, optional phone number and a salted, hashed version of your password (PBKDF2). We never store or see your password in plain text.
• Saved homes. The list of properties you save to your account.
• Security data. A one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit repeated form submissions and login attempts. We cannot recover your IP address from it.
• Your browser. Your light or dark theme choice and whether you dismissed the concept notice are kept in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to us.

Cookies

We set one cookie, gs_session, only when you log in. It is HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, and it keeps you signed in for up to 30 days or until you log out. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose to load a Google map on a property page, Google may set its own cookies under its own policy; the map is not loaded until you click "Show map".

How we use it

Only to reply to your message, arrange viewings you ask for, run your account and keep the site secure. We do not sell or share your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you subscribe.

Where it is stored and for how long

Data is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Accounts are kept until you ask us to delete them. Login sessions expire after 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you at any time by emailing info@geminatesolutions.com from the address you used. We will respond within 30 days.
